Frequently Asked Questions

What is hypnosis?

In the most basic terms, hypnosis is an altered mental state; an individual in a hypnotic state will be very physically relaxed, sometimes experienced as a sleep-like state, but mentally alert to various degrees. This altered state encourages heightened concentration and focus, allowing access to the powerful and influential subconscious mind.

This is why hypnosis is so effective in addressing a number of common problems, such as weight management, addictions and health issues. Our mind controls our behaviour and understanding of the world, so by working with the subconscious mind a hypnotherapist can naturally and effectively help you to make positive changes.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions required depends upon your individual needs and the type of issue being treated.

Typically, our clients choose to attend 1-3 sessions, commencing with (or sometimes solely comprising) a single ‘Breakthrough Session’.

As we have a ‘brief therapy’ approach, we aim to help our clients achieve rapid, positive change, whilst providing the guidance and tools to make it sustainable.

How much does it cost?

For most of our treatments, a single ‘Breakthrough Session’ (1.5 hours) costs from £395.00 (inc. VAT) and additional 1 hour sessions, if required, cost £200.00 (inc. VAT).

For the exact session schedule and pricing for each treatment please see the ‘Programme Details’ section towards the bottom of each page.
